Allow clients to roam to another server and retain their complete state in case their server has to be shut down or rebooted (due to system upgrades, etc.).

The process should be as transparent as possible for observers (ideally they should not see QUIT/JOIN/...), and should be easily implementable in clients, like sending an opaque string acquired on server A to server B, plus some minor synchronization.
