IoT connected alarm clock powered by London live bus arrivals

This project allows you to create a connected smart alarm clock (Internet of Things), which updates it's alarm time according to live bus arrival times for London buses (powered by Transport for London's API). The project is written in Python, and aimed to run on a Raspberry Pi.

Requirements

• Raspberry Pi (any model will do)
• Internet connection
• A buzzer
• A contact switch

Assemble the project

To assemble this project, please refer to the tutorial at www.scienceexposure.com. Once all set up, simply type sudo python iot-london-bus-alarm.py to run the script, and follow the on-screen instructions.
