In-app browser: HTML5 game MP4 video clips not working

Hi.

My HTML5 game has video clips. Those work properly on Chrome, Firefox, Vivaldi, Safari, Opera etc... but they do not work on the Itch.io in-app browser. The documentation says HTML5 games are supposed to work the same way they do on Chrome, this is definitely not the case here. I have no idea how to debug this. I would like to at least be able to tell that the users are using the Itch.io in-app browser so I can display a warning and ask them to use another browser.
