[linux][v25.5.1] fails to remove old on update

On updating some installed games, itch fails to remove old. This is a waste of HDD storage space.

You can argue that storage space is cheap but, if you look at trends for what has been actually shipping in computers, you will notice that shipped storage space has been going down since spinning-rust stopped being the boot-device standard.

Please resolve game-update problems and properly remove old editions.
