random crashes after updating to Version 2.5.3 (r1817)

After updating from 2.5.1 which has run beautifully and crash free, to 2.5.3 I have experienced random crashes. The Duck will crash when sitting idle in the foreground, in the background, but mostly in the hour that I have been using it, when either bringing the app to the foreground by clicking on its main window or its dock icon. Has crashed about 6 times in an hour.

System 10.4.3
PowerBook G4 1.5 GHz
1 GB RAM
