I would love to have the ability to open an entire folder in the external editor. Maybe with customizable regexp filters to in- or exclude files.

Most editors do not support opening folders. You can however select multiple files and edit all of them.

Yes, I know, and if Cyberduck could just recurse into a selected folder, and it's childern (to a reasonable limit, say 2-3 levels), and open the files contained based on either a regexp or known text file types, that would be great. I'm not reopening this myself, but I think it would be a great feature that'll speed up my workflow. And I would be happy to see it reopened.
