I find that whenever I try to use the Duplicate File command on a remote file Cyberduck first asks for the new name, then proceeds to download the file rather than create a remote duplicate. Is there a way to duplicate files on a remote server without downloading them?

The problem manifests regardless of whether I accept the default name (with date appended) or provide my own.

I've tried this with both 2.8.5 and the 3.0b2 beta.

This is intended. The feature is implemented by downloading the file and uploading it with a different name. There is no duplicate feature in the FTP protocol itself defined.
