hi :-)

it is a little bit delicate, because dl.free.fr probably don't follow the ftp protocol correctly
on the other hand, all other ftp clients that i know don't have problem with dl.free.fr

you have to speek french to make tests :

when i connect to the server, no problem

when i try to upload a file, i get :

in the dl.free.fr window :

In you bookmark setting, try removing the custom initial path.
