Re-authentication after every download

Each time I download a file a re-authentication process occurs. This makes downloading multiple files very time consuming.
I can't find an option that address this. Where should i be looking?

You should check the box to add the password to your login keychain. If you initiate a transfer from a browser, the password should be used from that session without a reauthentication needed.
