It seems like the delete key has incorrect bindings when editing new connection during the existing open session (with selected file). Steps to reproduce:
Open a connection (let's say sftp).
Select a file.
Next click on open connection.
Highlight any text filed and press delete. You will be asked if you want to delete the selected file. Strangely, even if you disconnect you still be asked if you want to delete that file
Backspace key does the right thing

All context menu shortcuts are concerned. Fixed in c55e3bc. Thanks for reporting this issue.
