Hi, i am trying to connect to an scp server as i usualy do with winscp now on my mac with cyberduck.
I Used SFTP and clicke on Public Key. After that i choose my created "name.ppk"-File and try to connect. It asks for my Password and after connecting i allways get the error
The keys is not detected as to be a valid PuTTY key. We then try to read the file as PEM formatted key. Can you open the file in a text editor and check that it starts with PuTTY-User-Key-File- on the first line.
I just checked it, it starts with: PuTTY-User-Key-File-2: ssh-rsa
Anything to change on that line?
That is fine. However it just comes to my attention that you reported against version 3.6.1. Support for PuTTY keys is scheduled for 3.7 and available for testing in the current snapshot build from (http://update.cyberduck.ch/nightly/).
Hey dkocher,
thanks for your help!
I just downloaded Version 3.7 (7327).
I only see the bookmark entry now shows a green "light". But i don´t see anything of the server? There´s no file menu or folder structure?
