can't open the duck on my mac

I have a mac latop and use the duck frequently to access an ftp. sometimes everyday and is an integral part of my business.

I have installed the most recent updates and the duck will not open to the ftp page. the duck bounces and disappears. I have restarted the computer, downloaded the duck again and restarted again.

But, if I click on the duck to open, like I said it bounces and just disapears. it is in my downloads but will not actually open.

I use this for my business and need to download photos for a client.

please help me.

Try to reinstall Java for Mac OS X 10.7 Update 1 or Java for Mac OS X 10.6 Update 5 from scratch. Closing as duplicate for #6242.
