Fail to list directory with equals symbol in path with AWS4 signature

We have a s3 bucket and have recently migrated our paths to include equals symbols. We have just upgraded to Cyberduck 5.0 and there is a somewhat cryptic error when trying to list a path with the equals symbol:

"Listing directory key=value failed."
"The request signature we calculated does not match the signature you provided. Check your key and signing method. Please contact your web hosting service provider for assistance."

I downgraded to 4.9.3 and the path lists fine.
