Broken mt_rand Quality

This program is for applying the BigCrush test to the PHP's broken mt_rand function (See https://github.com/php/php-src/commit/a0724d30817600540946b41e40f4cfc2a0c30f80).

Requirement

You need to install TestU01 (http://simul.iro.umontreal.ca/testu01/tu01.html).

Build and Run

Just make and run as follows.

$ make

$ bin/php_mt_broken

Test Harness

File main.c is largely based on crushes.c in XSadd (https://github.com/MersenneTwister-Lab/XSadd); thus it inherits the MIT License.

PHP Random Function Implementations

This product includes PHP, freely available from http://www.php.net/. Specifically, files rand_php_mt_broken.c and rand_php_mt_fixed.c are generally extraction from the original PHP implementation (https://github.com/php/php-src); thus they inherit the PHP license.
