  1. sal: Further refine distance stuff.

  2. sal: Threshold, blur and average with mean. Unused.

    committed
The idea is to "spread out" salient pixels.
    Currently unused though.
  3. sal: Propagate best 2 matches.

    committed
Now we compare up to 40 nearest-neighbor tuples.
    (8*2top*2left*query)
  4. sal: Completely normalize color distance.

    committed
    Mellows out results much better.

  1. cd: Hook up processing routines.

    committed
  2. kdtest: Add a match4.

    committed
This is the same algo as the current match() in kdtest,
except that it does reconstruction using patches in the source
image rather than doing the inverse transform.

Almost as good as the propagation algo, but not quite.
  3. kdtest: Block reconstruction using source patches.

    committed
Other tests (via the splat function) do recon with quantized
versions of matching tuples. We take the matched tuples
(via propagated search) and use that to find the original
patches from the source for recontruction.

  1. prop: Even better defaults for coeffs.

    committed
Use BGR-2-9-5. 4.4% more accurate, 3.3% faster than old default.
    Wins all around.

  1. kdtest: Fix print_tuple function.

    committed
Although the double-pointer indirection is strictly
unnecessary, it matches up with the one in kdtree.c
and allows for printing node values if needed.
