When displaying a web page that is larger than the dimensions set for the colorbox from an Ipad, the ability to scroll is disabled and/or does not exist.
Some might suggest one finger or two fingered scrolling, this does not work.
Own an Ipad, or go down to local best buy
Steps to reproduce:
Go to http://colorpowered.com/colorbox/core/example1/index.html
Click on Outside Webpage (Iframe) link,
Enter something into the Google Search
You are unable to scroll through the results.
Is there a fix for this? Is there something in the works to fix this issue?
BTW, this works fine on IE, Chrome, and Firefox.
This is still an issue.
Is there a workaround?
Possibly integrate with Joe Hewitt's scrollability? I will be testing this and will report at some point.
Has any got a work around for this issue? iframe dont scroll when viewed on the iPad
I'm having this same issue. Is there a planned fix for this?
Scrolling within the colorbox is much improved with iOS 5 than in iOS 4 (which was current when this issue was created.
I have tested colorbox on iOS 5 and I can't get iframes to scroll at all.
I haven't heard anything about this in a while. Any progress or ideas on the issue? Still not working on iPads. I also tested it with iOS 6 on the iPhone and it's not working on iOS 6 either.
I have managed to successfully implement scrolling in a colorbox iframe. See:
Please note that this only works where you control the iframe content.
I tested it on an iPad and it seems to work somewhat but it kept shooting me up to the top of the colobox randomly.
And you don't have anything in there that looks like it scrolls to the top? The original solution I adapted scrolled to the top, but I removed it and it works fine for me. I have it working with about 4 or 5 iframe colorboxes, without that happening...
Nope, nothing in the code that scrolls to the top.
It also seems to scroll pretty slowly. I have some long pages and it would take forever to scroll through them.
Ok, this should be fixed now: ca4e63c
