Export to .csv for large tables causes memory leak. #572

What did you do?

  • Attempted to export a very large table using the "Export [table_name]..." context menu.

What did you expect to happen?

  • A CSV file of the selected database table to be saved to my desktop.

What actually happened?

  • Postico froze and consumed all available memory.

What software versions are you using?

Postico version:
Build 2498

macOS version:
10.13.5 High Sierra

PostgreSQL version:
PostgreSQL 9.6.6 on x86_64-pc-linux-gnu, compiled by gcc (Debian 4.9.2-10) 4.9.2, 64-bit

Hey @elliotwesoff We've been working on this issue!
The attached build 3708 contains a fix for the memory leak, please let us know if any issues remain.

Postico 1.4.3 was just released, which should fix this issue.
