ShowCase transparency slider broken in 2.7 #115

When you try to adjust transparency in showcase.py in python 2.7 the GUI vanishes in OSX
In Linux, no warnings are given about transparency not being supported...

It is fine in python 3.x

In 2.7 - the GUI goes straight to being 100% transparent

The splashScreen has some transparency, so must be something weird with how values are being get/set

Fixed 2.7 transparency (#115)
in python 2.78 when transparency was being converted to a decimal
between 1 & 0, dividing by 100 was setting it to 0. Now converted to
float first…
