I am getting my css from a cdn, and would like to also use the same in jasmine, but this results in:

<link rel="stylesheet" href="/http://code.jquery.com/mobile/1.0/jquery.mobile-1.0.min.css" type="text/css" media="screen"/>

so something like asset =~ /^https?:/" ? asset : "/" + asset would be nice

It seems like a bad idea to depend on external resources for a test run. Why not download a version locally and increase the speed of your tests?

Yes, it has its downsides, but having the same page like in production makes
the setup simpler, no if/else for the asset includes.
(even if its a bad idea it would still be nice if it worked instead of forcing me to rewrite)

Closing. There is a Tracker story - see above. This should be a feature of the Jasmine gem, not Jasmine core.
