Hi there,

the generated rake task loading the Rake tasks from Jasmine should not throw an exception if it is unable to load jasmine.
In production environments you often have a "test"-group in your Gemfile, with gems not installed. Though you still want to use rake for Cronjobs and stuff.

You should generate the File like this:

require 'jasmine'
load 'jasmine/tasks/jasmine.rake'
rescue LoadError
puts "jasmine not found"

Best, Tobias

I have just stumbled into the same issue. I guess another way out would be loading jasmine only in the test environment.

Assigning to Rajan as it's a Jasmine Gem issue.

This should be fixed in HEAD. Our rails generators are duplicated and the original fix only made it into the rails 3 environment. They should now be synced. Let me know if you have further trouble. Thanks for using Jasmine!
