My name is Jasmine Vasandani. I’m a data scientist with experience in startups, policy, and strategy. A common thread in my experience is my commitment to serving the greater good, whether it be through the projects I work on or how I interact with my team. What I enjoy the most about being a data scientist is having the tools to unveil compelling narratives from data. Some things that keep me up at night are the notions that math is the language of the universe, that data is everywhere, and that everyone has a story to tell.
Here are some quick things to look at to learn more about me (the best way is to just reach out and say hello!):

Three things I'm proud of (that set me apart):
- I wrote my masters thesis on sci-fi and cooperatively owned businesses. (I received an MA in Theories of Urban Practice from Parsons School of Design Strategies.)
- I ran the Los Angeles Marathon (26.2 miles!) when I was 15 years old.
- I co-founded a business at a design and technology incubator.
- p.s. Only three things is difficult! Adding a fourth since I'm already here: I became a data scientist.
