I'm using refactor-nrepl adding:

:plugins [[refactor-nrepl "1.1.0"]
            [cider/cider-nrepl "0.9.1"]]

to proto-no-proj/project.clj file

It looks like:

(defproject proto-no-proj "0.1.0-SNAPSHOT"
:description "A default leiningen project to use when there is no project."
  :dependencies [[org.clojure/clojure "1.7.0"]
                 [org.clojure/tools.namespace "0.2.11"]
                 [proto-repl-charts "0.1.0"]]
  :plugins [[refactor-nrepl "1.1.0"]
            [cider/cider-nrepl "0.9.1"]]
  :profiles
  {:dev {:source-paths ["dev" "src"]}})

I don't know if this is what you need, if so, I can send a pull request...

That's going to be part of the solution. I also want to integrate it into the GUI so that you can select vars or files and rename them. If you or anyone else is interested in tackling that let me know. Contributions are welcome.

I would like to contribute but I have to study some code because I don't know coffeescript...
