Hi,

one thing that is missing from very necessary features is some kind of paginator.

I tried to look from documentation as well as from the sourcecode and did not notice how it could be possible to limit the number of posts on the index page and/or paginate the index page to multiple pages.

For example Jekyll does this quite nicely, as well as Nikola.

Any thoughts yet on when and where to implement this kind of functionality.

There might be a Freemarker plugin that does this that could be used (I
haven't looked into it).

Looking at the codebase I am not able to understand how you would do that on Freemarker level.

As the Rendered is calling the tempalte engines and then writing the content to a file, I don't see how to do creation of new index files in Freemarker template -- and would that even be the right place to do that.
