    No explicit globals needed.

    tildebyte authored
Also, Python doesn't require allocation; there's no need to do e.g.
`location = None` at the module level, and then initialize it in `setup`.

Tweak for my upstream PR 129

    tildebyte authored
    Gather globals in `setup.
Return `edgeCube` explicitly from `makeEdgeCube` rather than creating it automagically.

    Update `examples/Topics/Animation` for explicit globals

    tildebyte authored
     - AnimatedSprite: globals. `animation`: explicit `data` folder for standalone.
     - Sequential: globals; Change comment explaining dynamic loading of images to use list comprehension.

    - BoxClock: explicit globals

    tildebyte authored
     - Particles: explicit globals; reduce size of sketch by half (this one in particular is *very* CPU-intensive). `particle_system`: explicit `data` folder for standalone; inherit from `object`; list comprehensions; rename for clarity. `particle`: inherit from `object`; explicitly declare `velocity` inside `__init__`.
     - Yellowtail: explicit globals; list comprehension.

has changed from 0xFF7F7F7F to 0xFF808080. When running a sketch in Python mode,
the value is 0xFF7F7F7F. When running a UT, it's 0xFF808080. I hope to understand
the disparity, but for now, I'm just fixing the test.

Allowing running via a symbolic link

    amitkot authored
Check if the script is being accessed via a symbolic link, and if so correctly detect the actual location of the script so that Processing-py jar file and libraries will be accessible.

I install the package under /opt on an OS X machine. The extra symlink-resolution step is required for using a symlink from /usr/local/bin to the actual script's location.
