Hi, I am having issues installing processing.py. I downloaded the package and ran ant on it, and the build was successful.

But, when I try to run my app, I get the following error message:

Exception in thread "main" java.lang.NullPointerException
at jycessing.Runner.searchForExtraStuff(Unknown Source)
at jycessing.Runner.runSketch(Unknown Source)
at jycessing.Runner.main(Unknown Source)

There seems to be some issue when linking the external libraries, perhaps establishing relative links? Not sure.
But I noticed if I move my classes into the processing.py folder and run it from there, the program runs, but fails to link other external libraries (it even fails when I try to instantiate a PImage() object, which is part of the core processing libraries).

Any idea what the problem might be? I have the same exact set-up on another machine, and it is working fine. I have a feeling my processing.py installation is corrupted somehow. But, I've tried re-installing to no avail.

Thanks!
Jack

If you download the regular zip or tgz distribution, then there's no need to run ant. Give that a try.

Thanks, I reinstalled from scratch the latest version and now it is working fine.
