Including HTML via {% include %} in a Markdown formatted document does not work

{% include test1.html %}

Overview
========

test test test

{% include test1.html %}

renders as:

Overview ======== test test test

test{1,2}.html are basically like this example:

</div>
<div class="test">
<div class="test2">

(no spaces at the beginning at the line, no comments, but tags in the snippet are not well-formed)

I just encountered this problem, too, when using Jekyll for the first time. I was trying to use textile, as indicated in the documentation.

It would be great to either resolve this or modify the documentation.

This is a Liquid issue if it still exists. Can you reproduce this in Jekyll 0.12.0?
