1. This is supposed to add line numbers to my code block, right?

{% highlight ruby linenos %}
def foo
  puts 'foo'
end
{% endhighlight %}

But it doesn't. I get no errors when I run jekyll. Also tried jekyll --safe (i.e. with plugins disabled). Still no luck. Is it working for everybody else?

2. And this is supposed to link the specific text to the post referenced, right?

[Name of Link]({% post_url 2010-07-21-name-of-post %})

This doesn't work either. But this time, I got to see an error, which says this:

aahan@a:~/jekyll$ jekyll
Configuration from /home/aahan/jekyll/_config.yml
Building site: . -> ./_site
ERROR: post_url: "2013-03-19-the-path-to-programming-for-a-beginner" could not be found
ERROR: post_url: "2013-03-07-bookmarks-learning" could not be found
ERROR: post_url: "2013-03-01-learning.md" could not be found
Successfully generated site: . -> ./_site
aahan@a:~/jekyll$

As you can see, I've tried using just the file name, as well as the same with the extension. Both give the could not be found error. But the files do exist under the _posts directory. I've searched the issues, see none showing my problems.

So, is it just me? Can someone try these, lend me a hand?

PS: I am using rdiscount, as I encountered some weird bugs with redcarpet. You can find my site's source here (not up-to-date, but should give you an idea).

And here's the gem list:

aahan@a:~/jekyll$ gem list
