Migrates a Posterous blog via their API.

Awesome, this worked for me. I'm not familiar with the Posterous API at all - is there a way to migrate comments as well?

Jekyll doesn't have comments - it's a static site generator. You'll need to use an external service for this. Who are you using to host your comments?

Right - I was just wondering if there's a similar way to do something like this: https://github.com/mokolabs/mokolabs.github.com/blob/master/_import/comments.rb

I'm not currently using anyone to host my comments - I'm okay with them being left behind temporarily, because I'd much rather not be using Posterous anymore. I'm thinking Disqus, but they don't currently have a Posterous comment import. There is a custom import format, though: http://docs.disqus.com/developers/export/

Yeah - comments are available through the API - it may be better to import them directly into Disqus though. Maybe a weekend project for me!

The script you linked to should be easy to adapt to fill your needs for now.
