Audio not working on some video files on 10.8.12+ #10654

The original file has audio that works, i've tried different video files with ac3 audio being transcoded to aac (just like the main issue) and those do have working audio. When i was viewing the broken video, i took one mpegts file from the

@ProductiveAsparagus56 I'm a bit confused, we didn't release a new Docker image, at least not yet. Exactly what image are you running and can you confirm it indeed fixes the issue? |

@joshuaboniface I realized that i was running the linuxserver.io image, this recently got an update to 10.8.13 but it still didn't fix the issue. I didn't say anything about it here because saying that someone else's image doesn't work would be pointless. So i closed this issue prematurely, thinking the jellyfin image was fixed but i just had to wait on linuxserver.io. |
@joshuaboniface Just wanted to raise my concerns with the versioning used for this fix I understand that you may not want to push a different image with the same tag, but when it comes to docker, this is very commonly done when dependencies are updated or security patches are applied to container packages. The image digest is then used to record the differences between images with the same tag, instead of using a non-compliant tag post-fix. This would also mean that the github release and dockerhub tag remain aligned. I acknowledge this likely doesn't affect many people as most probably run the |
