This is something we're looking at in the long term for the git plugin rewrite, but I don't think we're going to do it in the current edition. |

Given that one of the core maintainers for the plugin has stated this will not be part of this version of the plugin (but will be part of the rewritten one), and that the request cannot be automatically merged, closing. |

the is, for large repositories, to have a local clone, and all the jobs that use this repository uses it with the shared option to minimize the disk space used.
I've added a share option to the git clone method, is there any better way to do it with a RemoteConfig object ?
