[JENKINS-65084] Filter field does not work with unavailable updates on Available tab #11949

Closed

Description

@jenkins-infra-bot

'Unavailable update' placeholder list entries do not disappear when the filter is used.

This can currently (2.277.x LTS) be tested with the file-parameters plugin, which requires 2.281 for its latest release.

      Can you add a bit more detail? or screenshots? I couldn't see anything weird when I just tried this out

      timja Type any nonsense into the filter field on the "Updates" tab and placeholder entries for unavailable updates will not disappear even if they wouldn't match your search expression.

      So the 'bug' is that filter is filtering? and not leaving unavailable plugins on the available tab? or am I misunderstanding?

      So the 'bug' is that filter is filtering? and not leaving unavailable plugins on the available tab? or am I misunderstanding?

      Steps to reproduce:

      1. Type "wfeiuwrenurgweugwreuhgwrejigwrji" into the filter on the Updates tab

      Expected Result:

      The list is empty

      Actual result:

      The list will still contain placeholder entries for unavailable updates.
