[JENKINS-779] Initiate connection from client #860
Activity
jenkins-infra-bot commentedon Sep 2, 2007
Raw content of original comment:
you can run JNLP agent from command line like "javaws
http://server/hudson/computer/xyz/slave-agent.jnlp"
1.135 contains this in HTML as this might not be obvious.

Raw content of original comment:
The submitter wants to run a slave agent in a headless environment.
(hypp, you can post comments to the issue by becoming an observer)
A work around is to set up ssh on your slave and have Hudson launch slave agent.
This is usually more desirable mode of operations.

Raw content of original comment:
The submitter reported that he needs this because master can't connect to slaves
due to firewall.
