I have upgraded to Ubuntu 11.10 (gtk 2.24.6, gtk 3.2.0, gfortran 4.6.1, python 2.7.2). And so, I have just updated gtk-fortran with gtk 2.24.6 & gtk 3.2.0. We have gained respectively 169 & 251 new interfaces.

gtk 2.24.6

nb_generated_interfaces = 8972
nb_type_errors = 196

nb_variadic functions = 85

gtk 3.2.0

With the release of Ubuntu 11.10 which has all the tools needed to build & use gtk-fortran within the repositories, do you think we should start planning a 0.1 release? Are there any major distros whose current or upcoming releases don't have gfortran 4.6?

I think there are a few things need tidying up to make it a little easier for a user to build his applications, but in general the toolkit works reliably.
