Example: I have multiple versions of Safari in my reposado. Warning Messages in repo_sync tell me that Safari-5.1.5 in branch testing is deprecated, but there is no such notification in Margarita.
Thanks for the report. Margarita, essentially, uses very similar code as "repoutil --deprecated" uses to generated it's deprecated list. Does your reposado environment property list the deprecated items using repoutil?
Yup. No problems at all with it. I seem to recall it showing deprecated items before . . .
Off topic, is there a version number somewhere that I can reference? I probably have your original commit. (late March)
I'm confused by your comment - "repoutil --deprecated" does show deprecated items and the associated branch names? Could you paste the output?
No, there's no version number other than the commit hash. The current newest version is Greg's commit at 6f4451a on Apr 24. Google tells me you can find the latest version by issuing a git rev-parse HEAD.
git rev-parse HEAD
Output of repoutil --deprecated:

And the "(Deprecated)" string at the end of each line is cut off here. "Here" as in github's comment box.
Interesting. Let me do a little digging with the repositories I've got. Thanks!
Just pulled the latest, and Deprecated updates are showing. Thanks!
Pulled the latest changes from git? But there've been no changes since the ticket opened! As an aside I did check a couple installations and they were showing updates. Cheers all the same, though!
