I have several containerised coding environments accessible from my host machine. I'd like to use them from the embedded terminal and from plugins that it uses that require machine binaries.

I wondered what people thought the best solution would be to having these accessible from containerised VSCode (i.e. from plugins, e.g. linting tools)

screen sharing?
Aliases to either of the above?
Just Installing into the container?
Bind-mounting /bin/sh to a shell script which forwards requests onto the host?
