  1. Allow `csharp` as a special-case alias for `cs`.

    committed
    `C#` is already allowed by the previous commit.

    Closes jgm/pandoc#2117.
  2. Added `languageByFullName` (API change).

    committed
    Changed behavior of `highlightAs` so that languages can
    match on "full official name" as well as the canonical name
    (derived from the xml filename.

    Previously, only `cs` worked for C#. Now you may use `C#` as
    well.

  3. Put code blocks in a div.

    committed
    This reverts the change in a9c79de
    wrapping all blocks in a pre element. (That was bad because pres
    are only supposed to contain flow-level content.)

    Instead we now wrap in a div.

    The default CSS now includes "x-overflow: auto" for the div,
    so that a scroll bar will appear on small screens.

    Wrap code block HTML table in a pre element
Commits on Mar 25, 2015
  1. @sapek

    Wrap code block HTML table in a pre element

    sapek committed
    Syntax highlighted code blocks with line numbers are written out as HTML
    tables which are impossible to format via styles for different screen
    widths. This means that pandoc generated pages with code blocks must
    have a fixed minimal width, making them hard to read on narrower
    screens.

    Wrapping the table in a pre block allows formating of code blocks to
    have a horizontal scroll bar if the content doesn't fit the screen
    width, by adding the following style:

        pre.sourceCode {
            overflow-x: auto;
        }

    This enables pandoc to generate responsive HTML pages.
