I think it's safe to say that majority of all coders knows HTML/ERB. So is it possible for you guys to just change your views file to html.erb?

Changing the whole gem would take time which I think is not critical. For anybody wants to convert HTML to HAML, use this site: Html2Haml. It's fast and easy!
