It seems that it need other repositories including ziparchive and xmlize but I failed to compile any of them. Both of them did not provide makefile and I don't know how to do it.

Use JamPlus to compile. JamPlus is like makefile.
.jam file is document of JamPlus.
Better to use LuaPlus repository of jjensen, which contain xlsx and its dependence.

LuaPlus can build for Mac.
