I typically squash when merging @jarodhanko-crafco so no need to open new PR. Optionally, would you mind adding a test to ensure this issue doesn't reoccur? I'm happy to push to this branch if it's not clear how to do that. |

It may be possible to update prune_paths to use this as well if the skeleton_image is None (basically create new image and add paths that are not to be pruned), but for now now that is being left as is.
