It freezes when trying to play a flash video (tested on SBCL and CCL), the equivalent C program works.
Thanks for the heads up. I will look into this when I get the time.
The code you tried to run and the error trace would be helpful.
Actually, I can't reproduce this. I've tried using my toy browser (built with cl-webkit) and flash does not make it freeze.
I am using gnash, though. Maybe that's the reason?
(let ((window (make-instance 'gtk:gtk-window))
(scrolled-window (make-instance 'gtk:scrolled-window))
(gtk:container-add scrolled-window web-view)
(gtk:container-add window scrolled-window)
(webkit.foreign:webkit-web-view-load-uri web-view "http://www.youtube.com")
Click on any youtube video, this is with adobe's flash player, it's also loading openjdk's java plugin and freewrl's plugin. It does work in C though, i'm wondering what's causing this.
It just outputs that it's loading the plugins and then stops responding, if i kill the lisp i get a segmentation fault.
Closing this for now, please re-open if the problem persists.
