I was trying to switch from Chrome to Opera when I reported about this bug . Now I just opened Opera browser to verify if this still being a issue and this is what I could watch.
Original bug reported is no longer exists (transition at startup). But there's some persistent bugs when navigating through Utilities menu (links that open modals), modals never are shown, just the dark transition is displayed. After dark overlay dissapear menus are not accesible and the editor is disabled. Seems that the opacity property of the modal-backdrop element breaks whole site.
I always saw there are too many sites that are not shown properly and breaks in Opera browser. In my personal opinion: these bugs related to this browser could be trivial or low priority for resolve (based on trends in browsers usage).
Said that; it was a little tricky to debug with Opera's built in dev tools, but I could spend some free time next weeks to fix some of these issues and send a pull request.
