Currently the project uses the Github Markdown Rendering API for accuracy. This can substantially slow down response time.

Since Github uses Sundown to render their markdown, as indicated on the GFM page, Grip can use the Python variation, Misaka via Flask-Misaka, or even defer the rendering JavaScript.
