Hi there 👋

  • 🐦‍⬛ I’m currently a NSF postdoctoral fellow working on evolutionary and conservation genomics in birds (mainly Horned Lark!)
  • 🧑🏼‍💻 I've previously worked on genomics & speciation in meadowlarks and Yellow-breasted Chat, and transposable elements in songbirds
  • 🌱 I’m learning python and snakemake pipelines (bear with me as I stumble around)
  • 💻 Goals: Make better reproducible code. Document everything. Make guides for beginners to bioinformatics to follow. Stay curious. 😊
