I'm trying to build shotdetect in ubuntu 11.04. I'm getting the following error:

Hi BigTundra,

Are you using the very last github commit of shotdetect?

Which version of ffmpeg have you installed? Through the standard repositories? Through a personal package archive (PPA)? Manually?

Which version of gcc?

Have you installed the build-essential package?

Ubuntu 11.04 is being discontinued by Ubuntu, are you considering switching to 12.04 LTS or 12.10?

Best regards,

I'm gonna close this issue, I think this is a little bit out of date :)
