In order to use ebusd with a heating system, a small hardware interface is necessary to read and write to the eBUS.
The following hardware interfaces are designed for use with ebusd and will also receive support from the author:
- eBUS Adapter Shield v5 for USB, RPI, WIFI and Ethernet
- eBUS Adapter Version 3.1 for USB, RPI, WIFI and Ethernet
- eBUS Adapter Version 3.0 for USB, RPI, WIFI and Ethernet
The interfaces above are the recommended ones, as no potentiometer adjustment is needed and arbitration is handled in hardware.
All other interfaces are treated as legacy and will not receive any support and might even no longer be supported in future versions of ebusd. See the dedicated legacy hardware page.
There are some commercial interfaces as well, but no manufacturer is known to provide customer support for use with ebusd.
