Currently when enabling the sortable option to a table, the Table headers also become sortable which means they can also be dragged into the rows. Is there a way to disable the table header from being sortable. Am not sure if this is a Bug or the way it is supposed to work.

Use tbody and/or thead/th.
See the examples on the website

I am able to drag the headers and place them in pace of rows on the examples in the website. thead/th as the same effects. I am able to drag the headers of the table.

It has to do with the itemSelector. Use:
itemSelector: 'tbody > tr'
