Hello,

I'm not sure if this is SuperScrollorama thing or a GreenSock one, but here's the situation:

I have a Tween tied to scrolling:

controller.addTween(0, identityOut, 500);

But then I have a different event that plays the tween:

identityOut.play();

So now the tween is finished, but as soon as scrolling as scrolling starts, the animation returns to the beginning and progresses with the scroll.

I've tried using relative tweening values, forcing a position on tween update, and removing the tween, but it's unclear to me if SuperScrollorama is setting the start position on load? Or if the tween needs to be changed to see that the element is already in the final position?

Hi Strazi,

as soon as you add a tween to superscrollorama it takes control.
Meaning it will always try to set it to the correct position (well what it regards as the correct position).
As a solution I would suggest you simply add a new Tween to the same object.

Jan

no problem ;)

If you are starting a new project may I suggest trying ScrollMagic?
It's basically release ready and only missing proper documentation and examples now.
