JHtml::calendar does not format dates on output #1467

The static calendar function does not format dates at all if readonly=false is specified. If readonly=true it does format the input always in the fixed format Y-m-d H:i:s.

Suggestion: Refactor the method, extraxt the formatting of the $value and use strftime() to format it, since the given format for DHTML calendar is already a strftime format string.
Unless you know a good way to convert the strftime format string to a php datetime() format string I would not recommend to use the JHtml::date since it cannot make use of the given strftime format.
