So I'm using Vdebug for XDebug. Let's say I have a stack trace and went up a trace. How do I evaluate the variables on that trace? Not entirely sure if my question makes sense. :D

This currently isn't possible, but I really like the idea.

How's your Python? If you're interested in contributing then feel free to fork and give pull requests, otherwise I'll be working on a fairly ad-hoc basis for the next release.

Thanks, I'll keep this issue updated!

Ah sorry, I don't know Python. But if the feature is developed, I'd be more than happy to test it!

First of all, this plugin is awesome! I'm switching from Eclipse to Vim and Vdebug is going to make it much easier to make the move. This feature in particular would basically make Vdebug a one-to-one replacement for the debug functionality in Eclipse.

Unfortunately, I'm pretty new to python (and vim) so I doubt I'd be able to build it out, but I'm happy to help out in any other way. +1 for this feature being developed!

Thanks for the input @chasingmaxwell, and this feature is definitely on the roadmap! I'll keep it updated.
