Hi,

when building a Debian package with FPM, I did not find any way to include dpkg trigger files [1], e.g. debian/.triggers.

If I didn't miss anything, I would consider submitting a patch. Would you consider merging such a feature patch?

If yes, for me a --deb-triggers option would be sufficient. I do not know, however, if there are more meta-files missing that would then require an amendment. If so, a generic --deb-meta-file might be more suited. (Proposals for different names are welcome. It's a bit annoying, that those files comprise the “control information” on a package, while one of them is named “control”.)

Best,
murat

As #599 has imho a valid use case for a general --deb-meta-file (or --deb-additional-control-file or …) I'd happy with closing this one and implementing #599.
